2016 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships

The 2016 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships is the 80th such event hosted by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Teams will participate at several levels of competition. The competition will also serve as qualifications for the 2017 competition.
Championship (Top Division)
The tournament will be held in Russia from 6–22 May 2016.[1]

The tournament was held in Istanbul, Turkey from 31 March to 6 April 2016.[1] Prior to the start of the tournament the United Arab Emirates withdrew, leaving six teams to play.[3]
