The 2016 Montana Grizzlies football team will represent the University of Montana in the 2016 NCAA Division I FCS football season. The Grizzlies are led by second-year coach Bob Stitt who took over the Grizzlies after 15 years coaching Division II Colorado Mines Orediggers. The Grizzlies play their home games on campus at Washington–Grizzly Stadium. Montana participates as a member of the Big Sky Conference, of which they are a charter member.
