The 2016 Seattle Sounders FC season is the club's thirty-second season of existence, their eighth in Major League Soccer and their eighth consecutive season in the top flight of American soccer. The Sounders entered the season participating in the knockout stages of the 2015–16 CONCACAF Champions League, with the quarterfinal series taking place in late February and early March against Club América.
