2016 Stanley Cup Finals
The 2016 Stanley Cup Finals will be the championship series of the National Hockey League (NHL) 2015–16 NHL season, and the culmination of the 2016 Stanley Cup playoffs. The series will pit the Eastern Conference playoff champion against the Western Conference playoff champion. The club with the better regular season record will have home ice advantage in the series. The series will be held in early June, with the exact dates announced at the conclusion of the Conference Finals.
In the U.S., the Finals will be split between NBC and NBCSN. NBCSN will air two games of the series while NBC will air the other five;[1] The games will also be broadcast on radio via the NBC Sports Radio network.[2]
In Canada, the series will be broadcast by CBC Television (through Hockey Night in Canada, as produced by Sportsnet through a brokerage agreement) in English, and TVA Sports in French.
