The 2017 Caribbean Cup will be the 19th edition of the Caribbean Cup, the biennial international men's football championship of the Caribbean region organized by the Caribbean Football Union (CFU).

The top four teams are expected to qualify for the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup, to be played between 9–30 July 2017,[4] while the fifth-placed team will advance to a play-off against the fifth-placed Central American team for the final Gold Cup berth.

The host for the final round was expected to be announced in January 2016.[5] It was announced that the tournament would be hosted by the United States, a non-CFU member.[2]

Qualification

Twenty five of the thirty one CFU members have agreed to participate in the tournament.[6]

Four teams will qualify for the final tournament.[2]

Knockout stage

If tied after regulation, extra time is played, and if still tied after extra time, penalty shoot-out is used to determine the winner.[7]
