The 3 µm process is the level of semiconductor process technology that was reached in 1977[1][2] by the leading semiconductor companies such as Intel.
Products featuring 3 µm manufacturing process
- Intel 8085 CPU launched in 1977 was manufactured using 3.2 µm process.[3]
- Intel 8086 CPU launched in 1978 was manufactured using 3.2 µm process.[4]
- Intel 8088 CPU launched in 1979 was manufactured using 3.2 µm process.[5]
