Accreditation Commission of Colleges of Medicine

The Accreditation Commission of Colleges of Medicine is an international review and accreditation service for medical schools.[1]

The National Committee on Foreign Medical Education and Accreditation (NCFMEA), part of the United States Department of Education, has listed ACCM as "found to use standards to accredit their medical schools that are comparable to the standards used to accredit medical schools in the United States."[1]

The ACCM works on behalf of medical school accreditation for the following Caribbean countries and according to its site there is only one medical school in each of the countries:[2]

- American University of the Caribbean (AUC School of Medicine) [3]
- Saba University School of Medicine [4]
- St Matthew's University School of Medicine [5]
- Medical University of the Americas [6]
- University of Medicine and Health Sciences [7]
- Xavier University School of Medicine [8]
