Act II: Patents of Nobility (The Turn)
Act II: Patents of Nobility (The Turn) is the currently unreleased debut studio album by American hip hop recording artist and record producer Jay Electronica.[1] This album is set up to be the much anticipated sequel to Jay Electronica's debut 15 minute opus Act I: Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge). Production on the album began in 2008 with several songs from various renditions of the album leaking onto the internet with no official releases from Jay Electronica himself except for "Exhibit A" and "Exhibit C" which were both heralded as instant classics upon their releases in 2008 and 2009 respectively. In 2012 there were hints that the album was reaching its final stages of development through announcements from Jay Electronica via his Twitter page. On July 28, 2012 Jay Electronica released what appeared to be the official track listing for this album through an image posted on his Twitter page.
Release date
Back in 2010, during an interview on SemtexTV Jay Electronica said that he was pushing for the album to be released on his birthday, September 19 but the album has yet to be released.
