Afe Babalola University (also known as ABUAD) is a private university located in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. Was founded by foremost lawyer and philanthropist, Aare Afe Babalola. The University is regarded as Africa's fastest growing private University. Ranked 7497 on web ranking [1] 10 Private Universities In Nigeria. It was established in 2009. Afe Babalola was awarded a Honorary doctorate degree by the University of London, for his achievements with the University.[2] Afe Babalola University was also commended by Nigeria's former presidents, Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan.[3]
