Ahmedpur is an Assembly Constituency in Latur.

Previously it was in Nanded (Lok Sabha constituency). After the delimitation commission, the Ahmedpur Assembly Constituency was attached to Latur.

It is a Taluka in Latur. It is primarily an agricultural place with the main crop being sugarcane.
