Ahmed Yusuf Yasin

Mudane Ahmed Yusuf Yasin (Somali: Axmed Yuusuf Yaasiin) (born 1957, Hargeisa, British Somaliland) was the Vice-President of Somaliland, a de facto independent republic which is recognized as a part of Somalia, from 2002 until 2010. He was a member of Dahir Rayale Kahin's cabinet.

Yasin earned a diploma in accounting from the British Career Training College in Jersey in 1981. He also participated in a training course on Constitutional Law and Parliament procedure and governance on October 30, 2000. Moreover, Yasin attended the Faculty of Law of the University of for a period of six months.

The president of the Somaliland region, Dahir Riyale Kahin, nominated Ahmed Yasin as vice-president of Somaliland and his nomination was subsequently approved by both Somaliland Parliament Houses.
