Al-'Adudi Hospital
The Al-'Adudi Hospital (Persian: بیمارستان العضدی, Arabic: البيمارستان العضدي) was a bimaristan in Baghdad named after the Buyid Shahanshah 'Adud al-Dawla. The hospital was built in 981, and lasted until its destruction in 1258 by the Siege of Baghdad by the Mongol Empire.
