Ba'aj (Arabic: بعاج) is a city in the Al-Ba'aj District of Ninawa Governorate, Iraq.
The leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, was confirmed to have been seriously wounded in the city by an attack in March 2015.[2]
It is mainly populated by Sunni Arabs.[3]
