Alex Waislitz (Melbourne 1958-) is an Australian businessman.

Waislitz has been a member of the Collingwood Football Club Board of Directors since 1998 and is currently their vice-president. He has made many significant donations to the club in recent years.[1]

Education

Waislitz completed a Law and Commerce Degree at Monash University, Melbourne in 1979 and is a Graduate of the Owner/President Management Program of the Harvard Business School

Work life

Waislitz has extensive business and capital markets experience and has been a member of several public company Boards of directors. He is currently Director of various Pratt Group and Visy Board companies. [2]

Personal life

Waislitz is married to Heloise Pratt, daughter of Richard Pratt.[7] He has three children.

He currently resides in Melbourne, Australia.

He is Jewish and has a Polish background. His late father David (1922-2009) an immigrant turned millionaire, was born in Warsaw, Poland.

His mother Ruth Waislitz was also a Jewish immigrant from Poland.
