"All My Love" is a song by American electronic music project Major Lazer, featuring the vocals of American singer Ariana Grande. The song was written by Grande, Lorde, and and produced by Diplo, Boaz van de Beatz and Jr Blender. It is the fifth song on the The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 soundtrack. The song also appears on Major Lazer's third studio album Peace Is the Mission (2015) in remix form featuring Machel Montano as the last track.

Background

"All My Love" was first mentioned by Diplo on October 16, 2014 via Twitter: "Ok so this @MAJORLAZER @ArianaGrande track is sounding pretty gigantic right now #allmylove."[1] However, he quickly deleted the tweet afterwards. Five days later the full soundtrack was revealed, with the exception of a "Track 5" recorded by "Various Artists."[2] Lorde stated on Twitter that it was not for "secrecy's sake – it's just not quite finished."[3]

On October 28, Grande revealed in a livestream through Twitcam that she was included on The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 soundtrack. She described the song as "a very interesting song. It's very different."[4]

Lorde officially confirmed the "Track 5" title and artists on November 3, stating on Twitter that it was a collaboration between Major Lazer and "one and only angel pipes sista" Ariana Grande.[5]

Composition

"All My Love" is an electropop song, with elements of dancehall. It is reminiscent of Grande's previous single, "Break Free", featuring Russian-German DJ Zedd. Lyrically, the song is about how a painful love is worth the struggle. "All My Love" is written in the key of D minor.
