Allu Sirish is an Indian film actor who works predominantly in Telugu film industry.[2] Sirish made his acting debut with Radha Mohan's social drama Gouravam,[3] which was a bi-lingual film shot in Telugu and Tamil. In 2014, his second film Kotta Janta was released.

Early life

Allu Sirish was born in Chennai on 30 May 1987. His father Allu Aravind is a film producer .[1]

Sirish is the youngest of three children. His elder brother is Telugu actor Allu Arjun. He is the grandson of Allu Rama Lingaiah, and the nephew of Chiranjeevi. His cousin Ram Charan is also an actor in Telugu films.

Sirish did his schooling in PSBB Higher Secondary, Chennai and moved to Hyderabad during his 10th standard. He graduated in Mass Communication (Journalism) from R.D National College.

Career

1990–2010

Sirish acted as a child artist in his uncle Chiranjeevi's Bollywood debut Pratibandh in 1990. In 1996, he had a role in Mayabazaar, directed by Dasari Narayana Rao.

He co-produced the film Ghajini along with his father Allu Aravind.[4]

2013–2014

After finishing his degree, Allu Sirish trained professionally at Kreating Characters Institute in Mumbai and learnt martial arts. He worked as a co-producer on Ghajini starring Aamir Khan, produced by his father and Madhu Mantena. It was during his training in Chennai that he met Radha Mohan, who offered him the lead in his bilingual drama, Gouravam, which was released on 19 April 2013.

When Allu Aravind signed Maruthi for a film with Geetha Arts there was no actor in mind. The script called for a young, romantic lead and Maruthi suggested signing Allu Sirish. The film, Kotha Janta, was released on 1 May 2014.[5]

Sirish is working on a film directed by director Parasuram.
