'Varun Tej' is an Indian film actor who forays from Chiranjeevi's family. He works predominantly in Telugu film industry.

Early life

Varun is the son of actor and producer Nagendra Babu, younger brother of Chiranjeevi. He is the nephew to actor Pawan Kalyan. He has a younger sister Niharika Konidela. His cousins Ram Charan, Allu Arjun and Sai Dharam Tej are also actors in Tollywood.

Debut in films (2014-present)

He made his debut as a hero with the film Mukunda directed by Srikanth Addala opposite Pooja Hegde. In Kanche, he portrayed Dhupati Haribabu, the grandson of a poor barber, who falls in love with Seethadevi who later goes on to fight in World War II named "Kanche" directed by Krish was critically appreciated by critics and also was commercial success. Pragya Jaiswal acted as his female lead. His third film, Loafer which was released on December 18 directed by Puri Jagannath.[1]
