Amata District, Kyoto
Amata (天田郡 Amata-gun) was a district located in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan.
As of 2003, the district had an estimated population of 8,965 and a density of 46.81 persons per km². The total area was 191.52 km².
Towns and villages
Merger
- On January 1, 2006 - the towns of Miwa and Yakuno, along with the town of Ōe (from the town of Kasa District), were merged into the expanded city of Fukuchiyama. Amata District was dissolved as a result of this merger.
