Ampani is a town in Kalahandi district, Odisha, India and this G.P.(Gram Panchayat) comes under Kokasara tehsil.It is 15 km away from its main town and Block(panchayat samiti) Kokasara.

It is located at 19°35′0″N 82°38′0″E / 19.58333°N 82.63333°E / 19.58333; 82.63333 at an elevation of 313 m from MSL.[1]

Ampani is small village located in Kokasara Block of Kalahandi district, Orissa with total 608 families residing. The Ampani village has population of 2693 of which 1394 are males while 1299 are females as per Population Census 2011.
