Arnold Leslie Kirkpatrick (December 23, 1886 – April 5, 1953) was the second head football coach for the Howard Payne University Yellow Jackets located in Brownwood, Texas and he held that position for seven seasons, from 1917 until 1923. His career coaching record at Howard Payne was 33 wins, 18 losses, and 4 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2007 season, this ranks him fourth at Howard Payne in total wins and sixth at Howard Payne in winning percentage (.636).[2] He later worked as a lawyer.
