Arthur Grisha Gregorian (Armenian: Արթուր Գրիշայի Գրիգորյան) was born in the village of Bjni, Kotayk Region on September 20, 1969.

Biography

In 1987-1989, he served in the Soviet Army. In 1995, he graduated from the YSU Faculty of Law, got his diploma of a lawyer. In the years 1992 to 1999, worked as a judicial officer at People’s Court of Hrazdan Region, later became the Head of the Office. In 1999, he was appointed the Head of Department of Judicial Acts Compulsory Enforcement of Kotayk Region of the RA Ministry of Justice. Gregorian headed the Legal Department at the Control Chamber of the Republic of Armenia in December, 2007, later Deputy Head of the 3rd Department. In the period from December 2008 to June 2010, Arthur Gregorian headed the 8th Department. Arthur Gregorian was appointed the RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs pursuant to the RA President’s Decree made on June 28, 2010. On December 26, 2009 he was awarded the RA President’s Appreciation. He is also Lieutenant Colonel of Justice. Grigoryan has been a member of “Bargavach Hayastan” party (Prosperous Armenia) since 2006. He is married and has 2 children. Besides his work, Arthur’s hobbies include reading and sports.
