Ashish Kashyap is the founder & CEO of ibibo Group, an Indian online travel group that owns travel properties: Goibibo, redBus.in, travelboutiqueOnline (51% stake in the leading B2B travel platform), and ibiboryde (car & cab Sharing application).

Kashyap sits on the board of the following companies: ibibo Group, PayU Global B.V,^[1] ibiboGroup International B.V, Tek Travels Pvt. Ltd (TravelboutiqueOnline), MIH Internet India Pvt. Ltd, Saaranya Hospitality Technologies Private Limited (Djubo).^[2][3][4] He is the India 'Chapter Chair' of H2.co, a Global Leadership Network. He is a member of Mumbai Angels, one of India's leading angel group.

Early life

Kashyap born in India had completed his initial school education at Delhi Public School (DPS)^[5] New Delhi. After that he went to college and did his 'Economics'(Honors) from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University. After working for few years, he did a Diploma in International Masters in Practicing Management (IMPM) INSEAD.

Career

Prior to starting ibibo Group, Ashish was the Country Manager,^[6] India Sales and operations for Google India.^[7][8] Before joining Google, Ashish "founded" E-Commerce businesses at Indiatimes.com.

Awards and Recognition

Ashish was named among the top digital mavens by IMPACT^[9][10] in December 2012 & 2013 .
