History
The volleyball team was found in 2006 as "Sada Betim" who had the Grupo Sada as the main sponsor. Over time the company based in Betim, Minas Gerais, became the manager of the whole process, and in 2008 was created the "Associação Social e Esportiva Sada".[4]
In 2009 the partnership was formalized with Cruzeiro Esporte Clube, a traditional Brazilian football club, and the team gained one of the largest volleyball audiences in the country driven by the force of the crowd which has about eight million supporters.[5]
