Atlanta is an upcoming American single-camera comedy series created by Donald Glover who is also starring. The series is about two cousins in the Atlanta rap scene. FX ordered the pilot to a 10-episode season in October 2015.[1] The show is expected to air in 2016.[1]

Production
The pilot is created and written by Donald Glover and was ordered by FX Networks in December 2014.[2] It is directed by Hiro Murai and shot in Atlanta.[3] It got picked up to series with a 10-episode order in October 2015.[1] Glover, who grew up in Atlanta and also works as a musician stated that "the city influenced the tone of the show".[4]
