Better Things is an upcoming American comedy television series created by Louis C.K. and Pamela Adlon for FX, starring Pamela Adlon as a divorced actress who raises her three daughters by herself.[1] FX gave a 10-episode order on August 7, 2015.[2]

Development
The pilot was ordered by FX on January 18, 2015. It was written by Louis C.K. and Pamela Adlon, and directed by Louis C.K.[4] The story is semi-autobiographically based on Adlon's life.[5] The pilot was picked up to a 10-episode series on August 7, 2015.[3][5]
