Audio Push is an American hip hop duo from Inland Empire, California. The group consists of Oktane (Julian Browne) and Price (Larry Jacks). In 2009, the duo were signed to Interscope Records,[1] and they had their first hit single with the track, titled "Teach Me How to Jerk". In August 2010, Audio Push released a second single, titled "Up n Down", which showcases the group's softer side. On this offering, the song has much more of an R&B feel to it as the beat consists of soft piano chords blended with sporadic finger-snaps, and a simple bass line. The song was composed by Boston-based production team, Kadis and Sean. The track became available for digital download on iTunes on August 17, 2010. In September 2010, the duo released their music video for "Up n Down". In November 2010, Audio Push released two singles, "It's Going Up" featuring Soulja Boy, and collaborated with fellow rapper Mann, on the track, titled "Body Rock". In 2012, they released via BLKDMNDS, with two of their singles: "Extras" and "Wassup" off of their mixtape Truth Be Told. In 2012, they signed with Hit-Boy's record label, named "Hits Since 87 Inc", which is a part of the Interscope Records, while it was running independently by Hit Boy. Since signing with HS87, they have brought the forth genre music that has consisted, with not only hip hop, but R&B as well. Most of their well-known songs; including "Shine", were from their 2013 mixtape, titled Come As You Are.[2]
