Augustówka [auɡusˈtufka] (German: Augustwalde) is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Kolno, within Olsztyn County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1]
Before 1772 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, 1772-1945 Prussia and Germany (East Prussia). After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles.
