August Cinema India Pvt Limited is an Indian film production and distribution company found by actor Prithviraj Sukumaran along with director-cinematographer Santosh Sivan and entrepreneur Shaji Nadesan. Actor Arya joined with the company. Formed in 2010, Head office of August Cinema is situated in Trivandrum, Kerala.

- Prithviraj Sukumaran: Prithviraj Sukumaran (born 16 October 1982), credited mononymously as Prithviraj, is an Indian actor, playback singer and producer best known for his work in Malayalam films. He has also acted in a number of Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films.Prithviraj made his debut in Ranjith's Nandanam (2002) at the age of 19. His major films include Stop Violence (2002), Swapnakoodu (2003), Akale (2004), Kana Kandaen (2005), Classmates, Vargam, Vaasthavam (2006), Mozhi, Thalappavu, Thirakkatha (2008), Puthiya Mukham (2009), Anwar (2010), Raavanan (2010), Urumi, Indian Rupee (2011), Ayalum Njanum Thammil (2012), Celluloid, Mumbai Police, Memories (2013), 7th Day, Sapthamashree Thaskaraha (2014) and Picket 43 (2015).Prithviraj has won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor in 2006 for his performance in Vaasthavam and in 2012 for Ayalum Njanum Thammil and Celluloid.[2] Indian Rupee, co-produced by Prithviraj (under the banner of August Cinema), won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Malayalam in 2011. He is the youngest actor to receive the Kerala State Award for the Best Actor at the age of 24.
- Shaji Nadesan: Shaji Nadesan is an Indian film producer and actor. He lived in Trivandrum, Kerala. He is the one of the co-producers and director in chief of August Cinema India Pvt Ltd. Young Super actor Prithviraj Sukumaran and renowned cinematographer Santosh Sivan are co directors of August Cinema India Pvt Ltd. Shaji Nadesan acted in two Malayalam movies. Urumi and Indian Rupee.
- Santosh Sivan: Santosh Sivan is an Indian cinematographer, film director, producer and actor in Indian cinema.[2] Sivan graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and has to date completed 45 feature films and 41 documentaries.[3] He is a founding member of the Indian Society of Cinematographers (ISC) and is the most awarded Director of Photography (DOP) in India. Sivan became the first Cinematographer in the Asia-Pacific region to be honoured with American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) membership. As a cinematographer, he has won five National Film Awards – including four for Best Feature Film Cinematography. As of 2014, he has received 11 National Film Awards for his work in various films.
- Arya: Jamshad Cethirakath, known by his stage name Arya, is an Indian film actor, who mainly appears in Tamil films. He made his breakthrough portraying rogue characters in Vishnuvardhan's Arinthum Ariyamalum (2005) and Pattiyal (2006). He later won critical acclaim for playing an Aghori in Bala's Naan Kadavul (2009). Arya gained further commercial success with the release of the period drama Madrasapattinam (2010), the comedy film Boss Engira Bhaskaran (2010), and family action film Vettai (2012). Arya has won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South and received two nominations each for Filmfare Awards and Vijay Awards. In 2011, he was awarded the Kalaimamani by the Tamil Nadu government.
