Auld is a former settlement in Riverside County, California.^[1] It lay at an elevation of 1470 feet (448 m).^[1] Auld is located 12.5 miles (20.1 km) east of Murrieta.^[2]

The Auld post office operated from 1899 to 1921.^[2] The name honors the first postmaster, George Auld.^[2] The site of Auld is now under Lake Skinner.
