Avantika Vandanapu is a dancer and a child artist and actor from Union City, CA better known for her performance in the Zee TV reality show Dance India Dance Lil Masters North America June 2014 and was declared as the second winner.[1]

Early Life and Education

Avantika Vandanapu was born in Union City, CA to parents Srikanth Vandanapu and Anupama Reddy Chintala who are of Indian ancestry. Avantika is currently studying fifth grade.

Career

Avantika started her artistic career through dancing when she was five years old. She initially started taking classes in semi-classical dance. Later she started learning South Indian classical dance called Kuchipudi at the age of 7. Avantika participated in several dance shows and competitions and first awarded by ATA Star Dancer in 2012.[2] Avantika was also selected as second winner in first North American edition ZeeTV reality show Dance India Dance Lil Masters in 2014.[1][3][4][5][6]

Avantika entered Telugu Film Industry in 2015 and signed two movies. The first one is under the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment which is Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha released in February 2016. Avantika was selected to play the role of older girl (Chutki). However, due to the conflict of dates, She decided to not do the movie. Avantika is currently shooting as a child artist for her officially first movie Brahmotsavam starring Mahesh Babu, Kajal Agarwal, Samantha and Pranitha which started shooting on 16 September 2015. She is also shooting in Chandra Shekhar Yeleti's film Manamantha. Avantika also played a small role as a child artist in a song in Gopichand's movie 'Oxygen'.

During March 2016, Avantika acted in the short film "Swecha"[7] directed by Raj Sivasadhani.
