Avey Tare & Kría Brekkan were a musical duo consiting of singer-songwriters Dave Portner of Animal Collective and Kristín Anna Valtýsdóttir, formerly of múm. The two started playing music together in the summer of 2005 and shortly after they were married.[1] The two are currently separated,[2] making another release unlikely.
