BCR Open Romania Ladies

The BCR Open Romania Ladies is a tennis tournament held in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. This ITF Circuit event is a $100,000+H tournament. It started off being a $25,000 back in 2007 but has slowly increased the prize money and is played on outdoor clay courts.
In June 2011 the organizers stated that from 2012, the tournament will be International and part of the WTA Tour, with a prize money at $220,000.[1] However, as of December 2011 it is not listed on the 2012 WTA Tour.[2]
