Balice [baˈlit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Zabierzów, within Kraków County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south of Zabierzów and 11 km (7 mi) west of the city centre of Kraków.[1]
The village has a population of 1,200. Balice is the home of The John Paul II International Airport.
