"Bang" is a song by Brazilian pop singer Anitta, contained in its third studio album of the same name (2015).[1][2] It was composed by the singer along with Umberto Tavares and Jefferson Junior. The producer Mãozinha was credited as co-producer of the band.[3] The work was launched on 9 October 2015, serving as the second single from the album. Music is the most watched female clip on Youtube Brazil and the 7th most watched music in general in 2015, with nearly 60 million views.[4]

Background and cover

According to Anita, the song was inspired by images created by Giovanni Bianco for her third studio album.[5] The singer wanted the album to be "a clear shot.[6] I told Giovanni that wanted something revolutionary, that all curtissem ages, it was universal. He took this idea of power, bang, the right shot.[7] This happened seven months ago and the music did not exist. Then I thought: 'I will have to have a song with just the bang on my record,' "leading the singer to write the track.[8]

The single cover was creative directed by Giovanni Bianco, Photo Gui Paganini, styling signed by Renata Correa and beauty Henrique Martins.[9] In the picture, the singer appears wearing a revealing jumpsuit, fishnets and floss.[10][11]

Composition

"Bang" is a Anitta partnership with Umberto Tavares and Jefferson Junior, who has worked with her before.[12] Mãozinha served as co-producer of the band. It's a pop and trap, which incorporates stylistic elements of electronic and funk of the 1970s.[13][14] Lyrically, the track is about a partnership that can be a loving relationship, a friendship, or a professional collaboration.[15] "So one of the things the letter brings is a step by step of how one should do to be on the same wavelength as you", said the singer, adding that "it is a song that can be sung to any kind of audience.[16] as a straight shot to the target, it is a victory song".[17][18]

Music video

The music video for "Bang" was directed by Bruno Ilogti, with art direction by Giovanni Bianco, with more than 50 professionals involved in the production.[19] "That was the first clip I left entirely in the hands of someone else. I did not choose anything. I left Giovanni do.[20] I closed my eyes and trusted.[21] It was incredible, "said Anitta. The singer wanted a video that pass the message of" strength, self-esteem, while a new career move a makeover. Wanted it to be something that people hit zero to one hundred years, all ages would have to like it. "The video was choreographed by the very Anitta, along with Arielle dancer. The singer commented on the production:[22]

The official premiere of the video was the New York City Center in Rio de Janeiro, and was closed for 200 invited fans, the media and part of her family. Anitta asked that people not gravassem not disclose anything on the Internet before the official premiere of the video.[23] There was a security scheme reinforced to prevent leaks, with all guests having to leave the cell phone at the entrance and pass through a protective metal. Even media outlets had to shut down the equipment while viewing the video.[24] The video premiered on YouTube on October 9th, 2015, just before the singer to present a special edition of the TVZ Multishow, where it was screened again.[25] The video, shot in black and white, is stuffed with animation and color effects.[26] With her dancers, dance Anitta wearing white panties, over a garter belt.[27]
