Bantay Radyo (or El Nuevo Bantay Radyo, "The New Guardian Radio") is a Philippine radio network in the Visayas and Mindanao region owned by SIAM Broadcasting Network. Its main headquarters are located in Matina, Davao City.
History & Background
Bantay Radyo is a network of AM radio stations each with a power of 10,000 kilowatts and strategically located in Cebu and in Negros Oriental. The network is owned under the Radio franchise of CDO-based SIAM (Sarraga Integrating and Management) Broadcasting Network, with the leadership of provincial Board Member Gigi Sanchez of the province of Cebu, as Chief Executive Officer. It went signed the blocktime contract with PAFI Techno Resources Corporation from 2002 until mid-2015.
The management of Bantay radyo, composed of the following radio personalities, Yody A. Sanchez, the Barangay Captain of Barangay Busay, as Vice-President for Operation, Jun Carrillo, as Station Manager, Jess Villarba, Assistant manager and News director, Emie Mates as News Editor and Cesar Cajes, Chief Technician.
The main broadcast emanates from the Studio of DYDD 1260 kHz, located along Barangay Capitol Site, Cebu City. The Broadcast is originating radio stations: DYHH 1044 kHz in Bogo City, Northern part of Cebu, DYZZ 1458 kHz in Bacolod City, DXOR 729 kHz Cagayan de Oro City and DXIP 900 kHz in Davao City.

Bantay Radyo's logo is a dog (called bantay (guardian) in the Philippines, hence the name Bantay Radyo) wearing a headset and a media ID.[1]
