Barzeh (also written Berzé) is a municipality and a neighborhood to the north of Damascus, Syria.[2] According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics, Barzeh had a population of 47,339 in the 2004 census.[1] The municipality has been active in the Syrian civil war.
