Basford North railway station was a former railway station to serve Basford and Bulwell in Nottinghamshire, England. It was close to the River Leen which it crossed with a nine-arch brick viaduct.[3]

History

It was opened originally as Dob Park Station as it was built on land belonging to that estate but quickly changed its name to Basford and Bulwell. Built by the Great Northern Railway on its Derbyshire Extension in 1875-6, and later again renamed Basford North to avoid confusion with the Midland Railways's earlier built station originally named Basford opened in 1848[1]

It closed in 1964. There were further stations in Bulwell at Bulwell Common, Bulwell Forest and Bulwell Hall Halt.[4]
