Bernard Blake

Bernard Maurice Blake Jr. is a professional football player currently a free agent of the National Football League.

Football career

Blake is a native of Bastrop, Texas and attended Bastrop High School. He played various position on the Bastrop football team including running back, wide receiver, cornerback and safety. He also ran the 200 metres, 4 × 100 metres relay and 4 × 200 metres relay in track and field.[1]

Blake attended Colorado State University (CSU) where he earned his degree in liberal arts with a concentration on sociology. He was a four-year letterman at CSU where he mostly played cornerback. Blake played in all thirteen games of the CSU 2014 season and was invited to the East–West Shrine Game in January 2015. He was injured during practice for the Shrine game and had to pull out.

He did not participate in the 2015 NFL scouting combine. Although not called during the 2015 draft, Blake agreed to a free agent contract with the Packers at the conclusion the rounds.[2]
