Beswan is a town and a nagar panchayat in Aligarh district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The Thenua rulers of Beswan belong to the Jat ethnicity.

Beswan is located at 27°39′N 77°53′E / 27.65°N 77.88°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 176 metres (577 feet).

As of 2001 India census,[2] Beswan had a population of 5,459. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%.
