Bharat Jadhav is an theatre and film producer in India.[1] He is known as a comedian, particularly when working in commercial Marathi cinema and drama. His play Sahi re Sahi is one of the most successful Marathi plays ever.[2] He has also starred in Shreemant Damodarpant, All the Best and Aamchya Sarkhe Aamhich. He got special appreciation from audience for dance in movie Jatra on Kombadi Palali song.

He started his Entertainment Company with his close friend Vikas Kore from Australia.[3] The launch function was attended by Raj Thackeray , Nikhil Wagle, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Siddarth Jadhav, Makarand Anaspure, Jaywant Wadkar, Prachi Cheulkar, Kiran Shantaram, Anjan Shrivastav, Vikas Kore

Career

As per his website he has acted in more than 85 movies, 8 serials and been involved in more than 8500 drama shows and he is the first actor in marathi film industry who owns his first vanity van.He is considered as a close friend to Producer and director Kedar Shinde.

Drama

Bharat began his acting career in 1985, when he joined Maharashtrachi Lokdhara dance troupe, under the guidance of Shahir Sable. He is well known for his roles in All the best,Sahi Re Sahi, Shrimanta Damodar Panta.

Movies

He played the lead role in movies like Jatra, Pachadalela, Masta Chalalay Amacha, Shreemant Damodar Panta(Movie released in 2013),Sat Na Gat (Based on a novel by Rajan Khan).[4] He made a guest appearance in Me Shivaji Raje Boltoy.

Serials

Hasa Chakatfu,[5][6] Saheb Biwi Ani Me (along with Girish Oak, Neelam Shirke[7]) are famous serials in which he was part of cast.

Currently Bharat is hosting a comedy TV serial on Colors Marathi 'Aali Lahar Kela Kahar' [8]

Other Information

He is the first superstar in Marathi who owns vanity van.[9] For giving platform to new comers in film industry he started his production house Bharat Jadhav Entertainment Pvt Ltd on 29 December 2013 with his close friend Vikas Kore from Australia, visit website www.bharatjadhaventertainment.com.[10]
