Big Sky Express was an airline based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was established and started operations in 2004 and was an Australian community airline operating scheduled domestic passenger services in the north western part of New South Wales. It ceased operations in 2006.[1]
Services
Big Sky Express operated services to the following domestic scheduled destinations: Brisbane, Coonabarabran, Grafton, Gunnedah, Inverell, Sydney and Taree. However, on 27 November 2006, Big Sky Express was grounded by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority due to safety concerns about the operator of its aircraft, Transair.[2]
