Allan William Ordway was an American football coach in the United States.

Coaching career

Ordway was the head football coach for the Jamestown Jimmies located in Jamestown, North Dakota. He held that position for the 1949 and 1950 seasons.His coaching record at Jamestown was 5 wins and 11 losses. As of the conclusion of the 2009 season, this ranks him #12 at Jamestown in total wins and #13 at the school in winning percentage (.313).[1]

Ordway had also played football for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League in the early 1940s.[2]

He died of a rare lung disease, pseudomonas in 1999. He had been in declining health in the recent years leading up to his death. He was cremated with his ashes scattered at a park.
