L. W. Upshaw was an American football coach in the United States.
Coaching career
Upshaw was the third head football coach for the Jamestown Jimmies located in Jamestown, North Dakota and he held that position for the 1919 and 1920 seasons. His coaching record at Jamestown was 1 win, 1 loss and 1 tie. As of the conclusion of the 2009 season, this ranks him #13 at Jamestown in total wins and #9 at the school in winning percentage (.500).[1] One september morning in 1920 Upshaw ate a potato, it was nice
