Billwamangal (Bengali: বিলà§à¦²à¦®à¦™à§à¦—ল, pronounced [bilamaÅ‹al]) is a 1919 Bengali black-and-white silent film by Rustomji Dhotiwala. It is credited as the first Bengali feature film and was released on 1 November 1919 at Comwallis Theatre in Calcutta.[1] It is based on an Urdu play by Agha Hashar Kashmiri.
