Bilwamangal

Bilwamangal or Bilvamangal is an Urdu play by Agha Hashar Kashmiri. It was first published in 1915.[1]

In 1919, it was made into a silent film produced by J.F. Madan under the Elphinstone Bioscope banner.[2] The Encyclopedia Britannica describes it as "a social play on the life of a poet, whose blind passion for a prostitute results in remorse".[3]
