Birmingham West by-election, 1918
The Birmingham West by-election of 1918 was held on 25 April 1918. The by-election was held due to the incumbent Conservative MP, Austen Chamberlain, becoming Minister without portfolio. It was retained by Chamberlain, who was unopposed due to a War-time electoral pact.
