Bismarck, Arkansas
Bismarck is an unincorporated community between Hot Springs and Caddo Valley on State HWY 7 and 84 in Hot Spring County, Arkansas, United States.[1]
Bismarck is an unincorporated rural area. In 2002 the local clinic was closed. As a result, the state of Arkansas declared it an MUA (Medically Underserved Area) and BCHC, Inc. was formed to bring health care to the Bismarck area.
Commerce
Bismarck has two restaurants: DJ's Drive In and Fisherman's. There is one market: the [Dollar General].Bismarck has three gas stations located on State Highways 7 and 84. The post office, two banks, a storage facility, laundromat, Christian books/gifts store, antique stores, a flower shop, and various small businesses and local charities.
Education
Public education for elementary and secondary school students is provided by the Bismarck School District, which leads to graduation from Bismarck High School. The school mascot is the Lion and the school colors are blue, silver, and white. The school has a football team for senior players and junior high as well as a boys basketball team a girls basketball team a tennis team a baseball team a softball team a band a golf team an ffa chapter an fccla chapter several agri judging teams and a skeet shooting team and FBLA.
Recreation
Bismarck is located near DeGray Lake, a tourist attraction that has several designated camping areas.
