BlackCar

BlackCar are an English indie-rock band formed by ex-Headswim frontman and guitarist Dan Glendining. His brother Tom Glendining (drums), Pat West (guitar) and Caz (bass) have also contributed to the band at various stages

Named after one of the additional tracks on the Headswim single "Tourniquet",[1] their first album was released on 21 July 2003 by the Altered States record company and produced by Paul Stacey. The album, also called BlackCar, was a progressive rock/folk-pop record[2] and included the single "Asleep at the Wheel" and "Come on Home" (covered by Australian singer/actress Natalie Imbruglia on her 2005 album Counting Down The Days).

Since 2006, the band have been adding demos of songs to their MySpace page.[3] A collection of these demos was released as their second album, Last Scene Rushes on 25 September 2010, only available as an online download.[4]
