Dan Glendining

Daniel Glendining is a British musician, songwriter and record producer.

Biography

In early 1990s Dan was Blinder band frontman. In 1992, he left Blinder and formed the band Headswim[1] with his brother, the drummer Tom Glendining. Headswim released 2 albums by Sony Music, but commercially the band were underperforming and Sony made the decision to drop them. Subsequent to this the band managed only one single, "Dusty Road", released in the UK on an independent record label (Pet Sounds), before they split up in 2001.

In 2002, Dan and Tom formed another band, called BlackCar. The debut album was released in 2003, produced by Paul Stacey.

In 2005, Natalie Imbruglia recorded Dan Glendining's "Come on home" for her UK No. 1 album Counting Down The Days.

Between 2005–2008, Daniel made songs for Blackcar's new album "Last Scene Rushes", released on 26 September 2010.
