Black Widow Productions is a pornographic film studio which has given actresses such as Lexi Lamour and Puma Swede their first start in the industry. Black Widow Productions has in the past four AVN Award nominations, including "Best Foreign Feature" (Sins of the Flesh), "Best Amateur Release" (Jose Pusher's Pimping Adventures), "Best Specialty Release - BDSM" (Fetish Desire 2), and "Best Specialty Release - Other" for the John Thompson Productions film Cissie's Cum Show.[3]
John Thompson's series German Goo Girls is distributed in the United States by Black Widow, who had to move to a larger warehouse to cope with demand for the series.[4]
